Manganese dioxide & Hydrogen peroxide experiment.
Today during science – 13,8,2024, My class held and experiment on knowing whether to prove if oxygen was given an experiment or not. today we used manganese dioxide and hydrogen peroxide and as we put a lit splint in the test tube with the manganese and hydrogen the splint then lit up again. as the splint kept going out and the more we put the splint in the test tube the more it became re-lit. so this experiment proved that these two elements combined produced oxygen rather than extinguishing a fire.
